Halcyon Recruitment is excited to announce the promotion of Cara Carter to Global Managing Director.
With full responsibility for the leadership and development of Halcyon’s global business, Cara will be instrumental in continuing to build on our expertise and reputation as a leading international maritime search and recruitment organisation.
Cara has worked in the maritime sector for over 30 years. With an MA in Human Resource Management and qualified as a DNV Internal Auditor, Cara spent 13 years with the tanker owner Euronav, working as a Director responsible for Human Resources and Quality Assurance and was proud to become Godmother to one of their Suezmax tankers. Cara joined Halcyon in 2008, delivering search and contingency roles across our senior, technical, commercial, operations and professional services divisions. Cara has exceptional experience from across the industry combined with a network spanning her entire career. She has led teams in our Singapore and London offices and will capitalise on that experience as she heads our global service offering.
