Job Description

A market leader within fleet management technology is actively seeking an experienced sales professional within the maritime sector to deliver increased sales revenue across the UK market.

You  will be responsible for increasing sales across the region with both new and existing customers, involving in the following:

  • Prospecting for new customers
  • Cultivating existing customers for up-sale and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Promote and sell other group products and services.  
  • Attend customer meetings, customer events, exhibitions, conferences and user-forums.
  • Lead and run product demonstrations.
  • Qualify leads into the CRM systems and closely follow through the stages of the sales cycle.
  • Propose, review and negotiate contracts, in accordance with internal processes and guidelines.

To be  a suitable candidate you should have a proven track record with maritime sales, preference will be given to those with a background selling ship management software or SaaS within the sector. Alternatively you could be working for a marine product supplier with a strong network of customers within the owners and ship management market.

We are looking are for highly driven individual who has a real appetite for new business development with the competence to sell complex product solutions. You should have a strong understanding of customers, market dynamics and able to work independently within this remotely based position.
