A market leader within maritime learning and development technologies is seeking an Account Manager to manage their key accounts across the EMEA region.

You will be the lead point of contact, through building and maintaining a strong relationship you will work closely with the client to develop further business, anticipate requirements, ensure service levels and deadlines are met.

The key focus is to provide a consultative approach, to identify and deliver tailored solutions and taking customer service to the next level.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship with major key clients, through understanding their key requirements and strategic objectives
  • Anticipate account changes and improvements
  • Proactively upsell and cross-sell to deliver increased revenues
  • Manage communications between key clients and internal teams
  • Negotiate contracts and manage timeline of performance
  • Present reports on accounts progress and performance
  • Travel to meet with clients on a regular basis

We are looking for individuals who are natural relationship builders, happy to engage, listen and ultimately deliver effective solutions to major clients in a seamless and consultative manner.

You could have one of the following backgrounds:

  • A solid track record as an Account Manager within the learning, training or maritime technologies sector
  • A crewing or maritime training professional
  • Ex-seafarer who has already transitioned ashore into a client facing/service delivery role
