Our client is a leading ship owner / maritime contractor to the US government, providing services globally. They are actively looking for an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their global team, who will be based in Singapore to cover vessels attending the APAC region.
This role requires an experienced Chief Engineer, preferably of tankers, with experience ashore as Technical Superintendent in a similar role, who can manage the technical operation and management of vessels, review performance and maintenance, and provide technical support on requisitioning, delivery and installation of equipment / materials.
You will enjoy working autonomously and as part of a global team and have excellent project and budget management skills. You must also be able to travel as required in the region and potentially to the USA from time to time.
This is a permanent role working under contract to the US office and preference will be given to those already living in Singapore or the surrounding area.
