This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Shipping Organisation as an Operations & Marine Accounting Manager.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the daily vessel operation of contract portfolio of owned and chartered fleets. Preparing the voyage P&L report and facilitating the monthly and quarterly accruals in coordination with the accounting team. Monitoring and maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of vessel operation data inputs by the vessel operator into the company system (IMOS). Monitoring and reporting daily operational cash inflow and outflow and P&L in IMOS system as well as reviewing all the operation related expenditures, invoices such as hire statement, freight bills, demurrage/dispatch, port disbursement accounts etc.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Maritime Studies or equivalent with more than 5 years of working experience in the field of dry-bulk vessel operation with focus on the marine accounting including accrual works
- Good command of maritime ERP (IMOS)
- Thorough knowledge in the charterparties and the operation of dry bulk carriers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Singaporean / SPR only
