This leading organisation is looking for Assistant / Manager, Terminal Management to join their Global team in Singapore.
In this role your primary responsibilities will include:
- Engage with equity terminals on a regular basis to review operating and financial performances with the view to maximize profitability through increased productivity and efficiency
- Assist to set, monitor terminals' KPIs and explain the performance gaps
- Prepare and/or present regular updates on the performance of the terminals, its related projects and/or ongoing discussions
- Review terminals’ annual budget including capital expenditure plans and assist Management approvals
- Review terminals' existing processes for opportunities to improve and implement best practices
- Work across departments to manage
- Participate in ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline including Maritime Studies, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering
- At least 2-3 years of experience in container terminal management
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for higher position
- Good business judgment skills and strong analytical skills required
- Intermediate software proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of financial statement analysis and financial modeling
- Candidates from other industries are welcomed to apply.
- Candidates with Shipping or Marine Terminals related experiences would be considered favorably.
