Our client is a well-known shipping organisation, with an opening for a chemical tanker operator to be based in their Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding organisation in an international team environment.
Use your experience in the full remit of vessel operations including monitoring voyages, arranging bunkers, appointing agents, checking and approving cargo documentation, stowage planning, voyage performance calculations, etc., all in a great team environment.
To be suitable for this position you must have at least three years' experience in a similar role handling chemical tankers. Candidates with minimum rank of 3rd Officer with a year's experience ashore will also be considered. Sound commercial awareness, knowledge and understanding of relevant charterparties and attention to detail are a must. Title will commensurate with experience.
