We have an exciting opportunity to join this renowned shipowner in London within their legal / insurance department, where you will gain excellent exposure to the marine insurance sector and have the potential to grow and develop with the organisation. Supporting the Head of Claims, you will:
- manage insurance documentation and renewal processes, gathering all related data
- liaise with brokers and internal stakeholders on marine and non-marine insurance cover
- review all insurance invoices for approval and timely payment
- attend meetings / events with brokers and insurers
- assist Finance with periodic vessel valuations of the fleet for comparison with market and net book values
The ideal candidate for this role will possess an appetite to learn, be well organised and methodical, as well as being IT literate, particularly in Excel. Applications are invited from candidates with current experience within an insurance environment, as well as recent graduates (preferably maritime related).
