This leading organisation is looking for an Assistant Manager (Container Procurement) to join their Global Asset Management team in Singapore.
This role is to assist the team in procuring containers and optimize their lifecycle management to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations. That includes handling container procurement negotiation and delivery coordination, container production schedule, lease portfolio optimization including lease expiration management, portfolio optimization, contract analysis, process improvement, data analysis and keeping track of financial operational performance such as budget management, performance monitoring and reporting, as well as compliance and risk management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields
- Liner shipping experience in managing container procurement or related field highly advantageous
- Proficient in Google Workspace tools (Sheets/Docs/Slides) and MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with multicultural teams and internal/external parties
- Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, manage time and deadlines, and multi-task effectively
- Detail-oriented, able to identify and analyze problems, develop solutions and make sound decisions
- Able to manage and motivate teams effectively
- Continuously open to learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to enhance business processes
- Experience in data tools such as Tableau and Looker preferred
