We have partnered with a renowned, industry leading shipping organisation in the search for an S&P Assistant to join their team.
You will be responsible for helping with the full end to end S&P process, from initial discussions to negotiations, payments, calculations, forecasting, arranging execution of documentation and internal reporting.
Not only does this opportunity cover newbuilds and second-hand vessels but a much broader spectrum such as long term T/Cs, BBs, recycling, special projects, etc.
The successful candidate will come from a legal or S&P background and will have knowledge of relevant contracts / contract writing. You will have some level of exposure in S&P processes and a sound understanding of different vessel types, commercial variables in shipping and the main areas of shipbuilding. This will be supported by strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills, together with high levels of analytical skills and strategic thinking.
It is important that this person is open minded, curious, creative and dynamic to fit in with the team. You will be working closely with the senior / executive management team so will need to be comfortable working in a commercial environment at all levels.
